President-Elect Candidate Dra. Lizabeth Garza-García
Dra. Lizabeth Garza-García has been a faithful member of TABE for over 20 years.Throughout her educational journey, Dra. Garza-García has held several positions onthe TABE Executive Board which includes, BESO Student Representative, Secretary and Public Relations Chair. Her passion and dedication for the TABE organization ignitedher leadership toward serving as the conference chair for TABE 2018 in Dallas, Texas and co-chair for the first-ever TABE Virtual Conference in 2020.
As the current TABE Vice-President, Liz focused her efforts on growing the organization and aligning local affiliate efforts in recruitment and organization.
Dra. Garza-García is currently running for TABE President-Elect. Under her leadership, Liz intends to focus her action plan on structuring mentorship opportunities, organizing research collaboration efforts with higher education institutions, and work with BESO groups to ensure the future of TABE.
