Call to Action!

Let's Work Together!
Did you know? TEXAS does not have a Seal of Biliteracy. We have a Performance Acknowledgement in Bilingualism and Biliteracy that current emergent bilingual students DO NOT qualify for. We need Texans to make calls and send emails to the Public Education Committee to request a hearing for #HB1069: Relating to establishing the Texas State Seal of Bilingualism and Biliteracy for HS students! It’s time to recognize the value of bilingualism and biliteracy in Texas! For more information on HB1069, visit: https://legiscan.com/TX/text/HB1069/2023To support the bill, call (512) 463-0804 or email Jack Reed, Committee Director, at Jack.Reed_HC@house.texas.gov
